Since 1997 PARVIS Systems and Services has been developing, producing and maintaining powerful and complex visual inspection systems for industrial process control. PARVIS is an acronym of PARallel VISion: our expertise is in visual inspection, specifically computer assisted image acquisition and analysis, and system integration of parallel computers on industrial production line.

PARVIS's strength is in being able to manage complex long-term projects that need in-depth study, which cannot be accomplished with standard products, for which substantial processing power is required.

Relationships with PARVIS customers are not that of a typical Supplier-Customer. Rather, PARVIS co-operates with companies who wish to implement production process automated quality control. The Customer supplies the knowledge-transfer to PARVIS regarding their specific process; PARVIS then provides the Customer with the ability to analyze the problem and solve it by developing, if needed, specific hardware and software.

PARVIS was founded at the beginning of 1997 by engineers coming from Bull and Olivetti. The company grew constantly in the following years becoming dedicated to development of special projects for the security printing industry..
