ABACO-MES is a Manufacturing Execution System specifically designed for high security printing factories. Our manufacturing operation management solution is designed to fill the gap between the company business administration level (ERP) and the shop floor, providing to the management the information necessary to control, improve and optimize the production process.

ABACO-MES is based on systems installed at each individual press and on a centralized data server to which they are all connected.

The units on each press are dedicated to accurately count, track and record the operations of the press, to detect sheet handling anomalies and, in general, to support in an efficient and secure way the operator in his daily printing activity. Every sheet is uniquely identified once it first enters the production process and its complete journey in the factory is traced and recorded.

The data server is in charge of coordinating all the activities, collecting and archiving information from each press. All these data are then available for analysis, reports and display of useful information.

The QC statistical process control can also be integrated in this management system uploading quality reports and linking them to the various production steps and batches of documents.
